Rhythmix PALTM
Performance, Art & Learning
PAL 2021-22 Overview
Rhythmix Cultural Works is offering its Virtual PALTM – Performance, Art & Learning program at no cost to all classrooms in Alameda County for the 2021-22 school year. (PAL is geared toward 2nd – 5th grade learners, but is open to all levels.)
Each month a new set of resources will be available to teachers, including:
- Performance Assembly Video featuring a local world music or dance ensemble
- Curriculum-based Study Guide and Study Slides with connections to culture, geography, language, social studies and more
- Social Emotional Learning focused Q&A with the artists and corresponding SEL classroom activities
- Visual Art Videos – local artist profile and student art project – provided by the Alameda Education Foundation (AEF)
- Brief Survey to reflect on your and your students’ experience
*Filling out the survey for EACH assembly is the only thing we ask in exchange for this FREE program. Your survey responses are essential for securing future grants from our funders to ensure this program can continue to be provided at no cost to you and your students.
Thank you for your support! And thank you for being a Rhythmix PAL!
