Privacy and Terms

This webpage was created to provide information about the types of privacy data Rhythmix Cultural Works collects to fulfill ticket requests, registrations, newsletter subscriptions and contributions for its events, concerts, exhibits, online auctions and special events.

The information gathered from visitors to our website is limited to anonymous usage information, and the personal information provided by those who subscribe to our newsletter, make contributions or enroll for the online auction is encrypted. Details about what information we gather and how it is used is presented below. Rhythmix Cultural Works is committed to keeping abreast of the latest encryption technology to ensure the privacy of all our visitors.

Anonymous Information

As a visitor, you are welcome to visit and browse the Rhythmix Website as often as you like without logging in, and no personally identifiable information about your visit will be collected. Although our Web servers track usage information for these visits, it is on an entirely anonymous basis. This usage information is general data about how visitors use our Website, which pages are most frequently visited, which websites most frequently refer visitors to our site, and how long patrons spend on our site.

Our servers track your usage by logging your IP address. Rhythmix does not associate the anonymous information we collect through the tags with any personal information, and we do not otherwise monitor this information on an individual basis. Instead, this usage information is aggregated and used only to monitor broad usage trends, to evaluate the effectiveness of our Website’s design, to determine what customers do and do not use on the Website, and to improve the Website’s overall usability.
We may perform, or have third parties perform, analyses of visitors’ behavior, and may share aggregated data with sponsors and advertisers, again on an entirely anonymous basis.

Personal Information

Personal information is any data related to the personal identity of a visitor to our Website. A customer’s name, address, phone number, credit card number, e-mail address, and purchase history are all examples of personal information collected. This data is encrypted by companies Rhythmix Cultural Works employs to perform functions on our behalf, such as processing credit card payments, fulfilling ticket orders, sending regular and electronic mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, or analyzing data. Such companies and individuals have access only to the personal information necessary for performing their functions, but they are prohibited from using it for other purposes.

We do not require visitors to provide any personal information in order to browse our Website or to obtain general information on our Website. We do, however, require Website users to provide limited personal information in order to subscribe to our email list, purchase tickets, or make contributions. In these cases, the only personal information collected is that which a visitor specifically provides when registering.

This information is only used to fulfill your request and to provide a record of your transaction. It is stored by Rhythmix Cultural Works’ ticketing and email providers and can be used again in subsequent visits if you wish to make another purchase or make a contribution. Your website visits are anonymous.

Rhythmix Cultural Works uses personal information from subscribers to add to or update our postal mailing lists and telephone lists for our digital newsletter, special offers, and general information. We may also use personal information to evaluate our registrants’ usage and transactions, and to analyze how we can make the site more effective.

Rhythmix Cultural Works values your support and privacy.

Rhythmix does not share or sell your personal information with other not-for-profit organizations and/or arts sponsors. Rhythmix Cultural Works occasionally provides its subscribers with important last-minute information and exclusive offers via e-mail about events, information from our sponsors, or notification of other special events we believe you might be interested in. When this or any other new function becomes available to our patrons, you will have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving such e-mail updates should you wish to do so.

Children

Rhythmix Cultural Works is proud to offer events and activities for children, but online purchases through the Rhythmix.org website may be made only by persons who are 18 years of age or older. Rhythmix does not solicit personal information from people known to be children.
