Taiko - Beginning/Intermediate

Beginning Taiko
Taiko is the Japanese word for "big drum." Experience the joy of playing taiko!
Students will learn aspects of Japanese culture and language while developing basic skills in rhythm and movement.
No experience is necessary.

Intermediate Taiko
This class is designed for students who are already familiar with fundamental aspects of taiko and are ready to deepen their understanding of kata, rhythms, song and performance. We will concentrate on form and technique and learning new songs.

Taiko is physical experience, wear loose comfortable clothing.
