Instruction is customized to each student's skill level.
Instructor Jennifer Serr is a designer, pattern maker and
Alameda Mom! With over a decade of teaching experience and
20 years in the fashion industry, Jennifer encourages children
to cultivate this creative and practical skill that can
last a lifetime.
Learning to use a sewing machine and constructing a garment
are very empowering experiences, boosting self-esteem. Sewing
also helps develop fine motor skills as well as spatial
concepts and understanding. Come sew with us!
