Salsa 'on 1': Salsa 'on 1' is a slot based partner dance popularized in the West Coast during the 70's. With roots in the hustle and WC Swing, Salsa 'on 1' is commonly danced in the latin nightclub scene today. Variations to the dance are widespread, creative, and interpretive. Rebecca focuses on teaching basic techniques of lead and follow, footwork, arm work, transitions, turns, spins, timing, alignment, while keeping this fast-paced dance fun, exciting, and easy to learn.

Cost: $50/Series: The beginner Level is a 4-week progressive series. A new series starts each month. The intermediate level will highlight a new theme/concept each week in both 'shine' (solo) and partner movements.

What to bring: Pair of dance shoes (preferably suede bottom). Socks are a good temporary alternative. Most importantly, bring your smile! Come out and dance!

Rebecca Miller is a natural dancer and enjoys sharing her passion for movement. Her enthusiasm and love around dance, music, and teaching came together seamlessly as a salsa dance instructor for the past five years in Oakland, CA at the Lake Merrit Dance
