Music Scene and Jenpet Records present: ÓPAL CD Release Party July 30, 2009 8pm $12 at the door ÓPAL comes from a family of musicians and grew up near Barcelona, Spain. She entered the music conservatory at age 8 and at age 15 had begun singing with pop and rock bands as well as a-cappella groups. While touring Spain, ÓPAL met V. Rock, a musician and guitarist with a great musical capacity. He encouraged ÓPAL to write more. In 2003 ÓPAL recorded "Sueños" produced by V. Rock and embarked with her band to present the songs to a very receptive public. Soon came more concerts along with TV and other media appearances. She has since toured all over Spain and throughout Europe. While on tour, ÓPAL was able to write the new songs that became "Pienso Distinto," her latest CD also produced by V. Rock.
